Sumana Purkaystha, an Associate Professor, did her PhD from Jadavpur University. Her research papers have been published in such academic journals as 'Ababhash', 'Anushtup', 'Ebong Ei Samay'. At present her interest lies in post colonial Bengali literature and the contemporary theories of subjectivity and power.
