Gautam Chattopadhyay
Gautam Chattopadhyay (1924-2006) was a Professor of History in Surendranath College for Women, Kolkata. He was the founder secretary of Paschimbanga Itihas Anusandhan Samsad which provided a platform for scholars and researchers of History to publish their papers in Bangla. Along with his other activities as a political activist he continued his research in many areas.
